Fall 2016 Registration Update

Teams have been formed and families should be hearing about team assignments this week.  Several of our divisions are full, but we do have limited space available in our Minor, Rookie, and T-Ball leagues.  If you know someone who wants to play in these divisions, please have them register.  Click here to register online. 

Northside is offering baseball for players who will be 4 years old by May 1, 2017 to players who will not be older than 16 years old by May 1, 2017. For complete details, see our registration flyer here.

Sandlots are back in August!
  • Kids are invited to come out and play ball! Times available for Rookies, Minors, and Majors
  • Game start times are 6:00 PM, unless noted otherwise (Majors).
  • If we have to cancel due to inclement weather, the rain line will be used, 434-980-1256.

Day of Champions Festival and Line Drives for Lights Fundraiser - Success!

A big thank you to the mastermind behind this great event - Gene Murray. Northside also thanks the countless board members and volunteers who worked before, during, and after the event to ensure a great day for everyone!

Thank you to all players and families who participated in the "Line Drives for Lights" Fundraiser. We are happy to announce that we exceeded our goal!! Our players raised an amazing $16,638. Their efforts coupled with the previously announced $10,000 gift by a generous Northside Family has us over $25,000. This is an important milestone as we move into the next phase of fundraising for our Lights Project.

There were some extraordinary individual and team performances. Please click here to see a detailed list of the top fundraisers and raffle winners.  We will be sending out gift cards/certificates to the winners in the next couple of days. For players who selected prizes on Sunday, the RGA order will be placed this week and we will inform you when your order is ready for pick-up.

Carson Raymond Field Proposed Lights Project

Summer 2016 Update:
Northside has reached 1/3 of its fundraising goal!  We are now working towards  securing funding for Summer 2017 construction. This would put Northside on schedule for lights to be available for the Fall 2017 Season!

Volunteer for Northside 
Northside is a volunteer run league - we could not be successful without the help of Northside Families and Community Members!  Each Northside Family is asked to meet a minimum volunteer requirement of 2 hours.  



Northside offers many opportunities to volunteer such as:
  • Working in the concession stand 
  • Coaching/Asst Coaching
  • Assisting with Opening Day and Day of Champions Festival
  • Team Parent
  • Field Maintenance
  • Base Coach, Scorekeeper, Dugout Parent
  • Board Member

Division Commissioners:

Northside Cal Ripken League accepts registration from boys and girls who will be four (4) years old before May 1, 2016 and who will not be thirteen (13) years old before May 1, 2016, and who live within the following elementary school districts: Agnor-Hurt, Cale, Hollymead, Stone-Robinson, Baker-Butler, City of Charlottesville Red Hill (east of Rt.29), Stony Point, Broadus Wood, Greer, Scottsville, & Woodbrook.
